5. I saw a 'VIP breakfast' voucher sitting on one table (and looking at a review just below this one, they mentioned warm dishes like eggs), so I'm guessing that certain rates and/or guests get vouchers to go to the attached restaurant to get a more thorough breakfast experience.

7. The Washington Square Hotel is not expensive by NYC standards, but you could probably find a better rate for similar quality if you search; you just won't be in Greenwich Village.

9. My niece recommended this hotel for its relatively reasonable rates (remember this is NY), great location and really charming atmosphere.

10. I would say though for the size of the room, the room rate is too high, but the staff do there best to make up for this in service.
