1. It is a very quick 10 minute drive to Ocean Beach (Dog Friendly Off Leash Beach), Sea World and other beaches in the area.

After ariving in on a long flight from Australia, we couldn't have been greeted with a more comforting welcome from the staff at Indigo - the friendly Scott Darren gave us some great local tips and we were even lucky enough to meet Dieter from Laguna Beach reality show who welcomed us at the front desk.

5. A couple times, we'd been to the beach and tracked a bit of sand into the room, nothing at all extreme, but it was there.

7. We spent every day at the dog beach on Coronado Island and the hotel was a very easy 15-minute drive away.

8. Even the Valet remembered where i was going and asked me how was the beach, how was the bar etc.If you are looking for a good walking distance to all the nightlife and culture, this modern hotel is definitely the place.

10. A car really isn't needed if you want to just hang out down town or ride a bus to the beach.
