There are not too many restaurants within

ing distance other than a fast seafood place (good service there- I think it's called Ivan's or Ivar's?), an Outback, and a Starbucks on Aurora.

I had to stay here because I was coming to a workshop that was within
walk
ing distance, but if I ever come back I will make sure to stay elsewhere and take the bus.

There are a few places outside the hotel within
walk
ing distance that are good to visit, like Albertson's grocery across the street and a yogurt place called Melon in the same shopping area.

to the front desk for shampoo, towels, etc. I had to ask 3 times to finally get an iron that works.

The hotel is north of downtown seattle by about 20 minutes but a 10 minute bus ride to a shopping mall, and a 10 minute

to K-mart, Albertsons grocery store and Lowes hardware store.
