1. The hotel has a trolley car that stops a few steps away that takes you into the downtown area for a minimal fee, and is just across from Lake Union, which is a great place to walk, and was being improved at the time of our stay with more walking areas, benches, lake-front viewing, etc. There are sea planes you can watch taking off and landing all day-very cool.

3. What makes up for the parking fee is the complimentary breakfast - excellent selection of items, staff works hard to replenish everything.

5. The only negative is they do have a fairly high parking fee (>$20 per night) which unfortunately is becoming the norm for most big city hotels.

6. I complained to the staff about it after the first night, they were sympathetic and compensated us the parking fees (we were staying on Marriott Reward points) and were offered a different room but we didn't want to bother with all our stuff laid out.

7. I can understand why it is $21 a night as we come from a larger city with high parking fees in the downtown area.
