Fast forward a few days and we're now in Kansas City staying at the #1 Raphael hotel in the tony Country Club Plaza area (this property is now owned by Marriott) - free Wifi, free valet parking, DVD player for the room.

Amazed that I can get free Wifi at the Motel 6 in Dalton, Georgia but must pay or go to the lobby Srarbucks at the $170/night Grand Hyatt.
