2. It is way more cost-efficient and perhaps it skimps on the stargazing bit, but when you're standing up there in below-zero degree temperatures and short on breath due to a lack of oxygen, you don't really want to be out there for too long.

4. AC window units in each room, but most had windows or a sliding door too, Rooms were navigable for 2 people - would be tight w/3, but they had two-bedroom family units for a higher cost.

5. Old, run down, unclean, lack of basic facilities and some rude staff drag this place down to below basic and the relative price in terms of value for money makes it a costly experience.

6. On saturday evenings there is a guest appreciation evening, where Doug provides pizza and beers/soft drinks for the guests (a refundable $5 is required for planning purposes, no shows contribute to the cost of the food, the rest get your money back - good plan I think!).
