1. But, hey, this is Kailua-Kona, where not even the airport has a/c (except for the bar/restaurant that closes at 9:30 pm).

5. We basically showered, went out for dinner at Huggo's the restaurant not the bar (the macadamia nut mahi mahi was awsome) went back to our room probably 8:30 to sit in the chaise lounge chairs & listen to the waves.
