6. We walked down collins avenue in shock and came across the National hotel on the other side of the street where the concierge was very helpful in trying to get us another room somewhere (not an easy task on New Years Eve weekend) - in fact we ended up taking a suite at the National as we just wanted to finish our holiday on a high.

9. This location is in good walking distance from South Beach but Lincoln Road is right around the corner which was a really cool street to hang out on and eat.
