1. To end on a (small!) positive note though, Jose at the front desk was nice, and the bartender with the shaved head (did not get his name) was honest and helpful in regard to finding less pricey drinks.

2. The good points:As mentioned above, the service was very good, the front desk provided assistance whenever needed and the location is right accross the street from the beach and it is only a short walk to the action.

5. After thinking about it some more, particularly about how badly managed The Wave Hotel is, I decided to check with the front desk to make sure that I was not being charged for days I did not use valet parking.
