1. Great place to stay when in downtown San Diego.

2. We don't think we received value for money at this hotel and when we return again to San Diego we will probably stay at a hotel at the other end of the convention centre which is of a similar price, more luxurious, and closer to Downtown.

Transfers from the hotel are available, but you'll probably end up needing a rental if you're heading out of the downtown area, so you may as well pick up the car at the airport and drive the 10 mins to the hotel - it's not a difficult route and there is amble self-parking available (but the parking garage layout can be a little confusing).

8. This hotel was cheaper than the Embassy Suites closer to downtown which is why we chose it, but also within walking distance of the Midway, and the Gaslamp District.
