1. When I checked out a few days later, the cost of the dry cleaning was charged to me anyway, in addition to the entire cost of the trip, which had been pre-paid by my company.

3. Stayed at a LaQuinta Inn and Suites last Christmas for $79/night plus taxes and got a nice room, complimentary water and internet service included in the cost of the room and a great continental breakfast every morning.

4. Parking was expensive, as is the norm for hotels in this part of San Diego, but self-parking was fairly convenient and less costly than valet parking.

6. Everything simply everything costs a lot - food, drinks, vending machines, bottled water, parking, fitness center, etc. It is in close promity to downtown, Gaslamp, and Marina and that was really convenient - allowing the kids to roam and feeling fairly safe was nice.

7. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I received several perks such as complimentary full breakfast for two that would have otherwise costed quite a bit extra every morning.

10. Inquire about the cost of WIFI as they seem to charge per device and at $13 per day, with multiple laptops, ipads, iphones etc it can get pricey.
