1. -The spa is really nice, we both got massages-As stated above, the room was very nice and I can`t say it enough, the ocean view was spectacular!-The breakfast buffet was very nice (ask for a rate where breakfast is included)Things they could work on-The concierge service was very underwhelming on recommendations for restaurants-The lobby restaurant was really only good for breakfastSummary, this is a great upscale hotel to travel with you family without it being a cheesy family resort.

2. One makes allowances for this being in Miami Beach; i.e. not up to the better hotels in Hawaii, but still--would have expected a bit more of an elegant, first rate experience.

3. Internet access is an additional $10/day, which is really a ripoff at these rates.
"Showy and overpriced " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/23/2008 Vote
4. If it isn`t the economy or perhaps a change in management, I cannot for the life of me understand how lodging of this ilk, within the time span of merely a single year, could have plunged in quality from that of an opulent, grand-class resort to that of a tired, second-rate hotel.
"No Longer Exceptional " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/24/2008 Vote
5. As a token of the hotel management`s appreciation for the discontinuity in our stay, management offered 50% off the room rate for the previous night and a full ocean-view suite.

6. This 'resort fee' appears to be a way of advertising one room rate but actually charging another.
