1. The day we got in we got early check in at 10 am which was quite nice.

3. On check-in we got upgraded to a larger room and although we had a few small problems with the safe and tv in our room the hotel sent people to mend both these issues within 30 minutes.

4. Myself and my partner came here on honeymoon, have to admit we got a bit of grief at check in when they wanted a $600 deposit (which we hadnt budgeted for!) and another $15 a day `resort fee`.

5. Just be aware when staying at the hotel to read the packet they give you upon check-in containing your room keys.

BUT forget trying to check in a minute BEFORE check in time, we cruised to miami and drove to the Trump Sonesta Beach Resort, we got there 9:30AM and knew we where early and would most likely have to wait to check in, so when I got there and Andreas at the front desk gave me an id card for the pool and beach and told me he would call me when my room was ready.
