3. I would ahve used the safe in the room but the safes in both of the rooms I booked were locked and maintenance could not reset them and told me it would cost $900.00 to get a locksmith out to fix them and that was not going to happen.

5. Last March we stayed at the MGM Grand in Detroit and although that room had some cool features (touch TV in the bathroom) for the price difference (about 1/2 of the cost), the Doubletree is worth the money and we will stay here again.

7. I honestly dont think I would stay anywhere else in Detroit after this visit, I have done the Atheneum, and the casino hotels but why pay double for those when you can stay at the equally as nice Doubletree for a much lower cost.
