6. We visited several restaurants and bars including Dargan's Irish Bar for a pint, then went to Blue Agave for margaritas and tapas at the bar, and finally to eat at Zaytoon Middle Eastern.

7. Zaytoon (a hookah pipe bar plus restaurant with a belly dancer) was packed so we sat inside (Siberia) and tried out an array of appetizers and main courses.

8. Transients do camp out in the park across the street, and hang out at liquor store and low-rent bars on Montecito Street.
