1. A short walk from the ocean, a nice (albeit simple) free continental breakfast, and one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen, full of seals and pelicans and cool caves to explore.

3. We were upgraded to an ocean view room(520 top floor great view) and it was extremely clean and the beds were super comfy.

4. You could hear the ocean (but see just a little of it) from our room and it's right smack in the middle of the LaJolla village - walking distance to EVERYTHING.
