5. If you want to see the animals, a better bet is to stay at a nearby hotel on International Drive and buy your Disney ticket, then take the free resort shuttle to the Safari Lodge and watch them from the public areas.

6. In retrospect, it really wasn`t rocket science, but my husband & I were generally overwhelmed by the parks & fastpasses & the shuttle transportation, etc--there`s a lot to figure out--that we didn`t really get a handle on the meal plan right away.

7. Yes the hotel is the furthest from the parks but you get free shuttle buses so what`s the problem.

The bus shuttle was also great, we never waited more than 10 mins to get a bus to any of the parks, just watch out, you can not get a bus direct to Boardwalk you have to get a connection at downtown or a park, this took so long getting there we decided to grab a cab home (which cost 10 dollars).

10. Realistically, you only get a view of some animals for all that money, apart from a swimming pool and a free shuttle bus to the parks you pay for everything else.
