3. I immediately called the hotel and spoke with the housekeeping department (who in turn spoke with the housekeeper responsible for our room) only to find the maid that cleaned our room, of course, claimed it wasn't there.

4. The hotel is relatively clean, our room could have been cleaned better, the maid does come in everyday and provide clean towels which is excellent but a pile of dirt was on the floor for entire 2 weeks so cleaning leaves lots to be desired.

5. Top Tip, it does help if you leave a dollar tip for the maid each day, we were told this on our 1st Florida holiday by a virgin rep and we have never had a problem following this basic AMERICAN unwritten rule.

8. Having just returned from 14 nights at the BW Lakeside I am very pleased to report that our room (224) was spotlessly clean every day, Minerva the Maid even made a point of dressing up my daughter's teddy every day to her delight.

The room was clean and beds were very comfortable, maids came in every day and replenished sheets / towels etcHotel has three heated pools and a couple of small kids splash pools (we only used the one directly outside our room which was excellent and big enough with lots of sunbeds tables and chairs)Shuttles to and from every park including Universal/Busch Gardens/ Seaworld were available from hotel (at no extra cost) and had morning and evening travel/pick up times.
