The room accommodations are well above average; the scenery is genuine country Hawaii; the staff were very helpful and responsive to our needs; dinner dining at the restaurant was very enjoyable; unless you want to be where the masses and action is located and cost is not a problem, the Makaha Resort is an exceptional find for the island of Oahu.

8. We don't know who is in the kitchen cutting the meat, but the steak dinners we had featured cuts that were thick in some places and thin in others, so we had rare, medium and well done all at the same time.
