1. Good beaches, and only took 1 - 1.5 hrs to explore other spots on island.

2. The resort is located a mile or two inland from some very nice unspoilt beaches, however this coastline is one of Hawaii s more economically deprived areas, with more fast food outlets than restaurants for eating out in the evening, thus we ate in the resort restaurant each evening.

8. Do not turn your vacation into a night mare - I would choose another Island next time as Oahu was too crowded for me - did love going to all the beaches away from Honolulu though.

9. If you are not a golfer, like myself, you could take a 20 minute drive to the beautiful Ko Olina resort and swim at the 4 man-made lagoons (safer than the regular beach).
