1. Being South Beach it is fairly expensive to find somewhere to eat out but the restaurants we did find were fantastic.

2. It is not even 5 minutes walk to the beach, and all those lovely pavement restaurants, so we stayed out really late at night just people watching ( and having a couple of cocktails), before stumbling home to bed.

3. friendly and patient staff - close to miami beach but not on the noisy part of the beach (ocean blvd) - avoid the rooms facing collins ave or near the elevator shaft - noisy in the middle of the scene at south beach - hotel provides beach towels and a decent bfast for about $7 / day - good shopping and clubs and restaurants on adjacent washington avesuggest overnight trip to key west or key largo to see natural florida and get away - check out john pennekamp state park in key largo for snorkelling - lots of fun .

5. Also--as far as restaurants go, we ate at Puerto Sagua, Tap Tap, and Pizza Rustica and they were all great.

7. If you don't want to drop a ton of money then go here and as for the food you are in one of the best areas for restaurants in genral so take advantage and go out to eat.
