5. If you walk across the street at the light right outside the hotel and about a block up that cross street, there is a small older mall on the left, and it has a great indoors farmers market.

7. The neighborhood is safe and has several convenience/drug stores, although it is not located on the tourist part of the island, it is not a long drive to Lahaina and front street which we LOVED.

We would stay there again, primarily because of the location (convenient to OGG, a big mall across the street, several food choices nearby), the fact we found the hotel clean and comfortable, albeit with minimum amenieties: no hair dryer in room (but maybe available upon request--we didn't ask), ice 'bucket' was a large styrofoam cup to use to get ice from the ice machine a floor above.

10. The hotel is located across the street from a shopping mall with a Long's Drug and a Whole Foods, if you are in need of any supplies.
