5. We wanted nothing more than a clean room to stay in until morning so we could check out and were met with nothing but hostility and rudeness- not even one apology for the state of the rooms, nothing of the sort.

7. I especially appreciated the hotel letting us use the pool and a courtesy room to shower and clean up in as we had to check out about nine hours before our redeye flight left.

8. We had a late late night flight, had to check out of our Ka'anapali beach resort early and wanted somewhere to rest, shower and walk the beaches one last time before heading for the frozen tundra.

On our return because our flight didn't leave until almost midnight and we had to check out of our condo in Kaanapali at 11:00 we chose to stay again at Maui Seaside just to rest and get ready for the flight home - no overnight, just a dayroom to relax before the flight but we paid as if we were staying the night.
