4. However, the location is very loud because it has major through traffic streets on three sides of it and Los Angeles/Santa Monica traffic is endless.

5. While they have a shuttle we found it easier to take public transportation (75 cents each way and bus stop was across the street) to get to the pier and promenade.

6. Fairly standard chain-type hotel room, but a good location to be in if you want to go to Santa Monica beaches/3rd Street and to the Getty Center and Hollywood attractions.

9. Things I found challenging were: overstuffed pillows, noise from the busy street right outside my window, a refrigerator but no microwave, and the fact that the exercise room is located outside the hotel and there is only one key to it.
