1. to get our bill and only after asking 4-5 times we findly went to the hostess.

5. It was taken care of after a wait in the checkout line, but our friends, who didn't check their bill too carefully, realized when they got home that they had been charged $8/ more per night than their reserved rate.

Billed as a kid-friendly hotel in my guidebook, I saw nothing of the sort there, no one acknowledged my child during the entire stay (in fact, the doormen didn't even bothering opening the doors whenever we walked in with our stroller) and the pool is a lap pool, so not exactly the sort for a kid to be frolicking in.

8. Rather than sit on hold again for 3 more minutes and clock up another bill for waiting, I hung up and rang back a third time with the intention of interrupting as soon as she answered the phone by saying don't put me on hold, but she was in machine mode and the hold music started again.
