1. It's close to all the waterfront hotels (Halekaulani and Sheraton) that offered fabulous waterfront bars and restaurants.

4. Being in Waikiki for 6 weeks it really was helpful to start everyday with Breakfast downstairs, from fresh fruit to an omlette bar and most any thing else you could want.

6. The nearest beach was picturesque even though a little narrow especially at high tide but if you turn right and walk 5 minutes in the opposite direction of Diamond Head, the beach becomes wider and the beach bars sell food and drinks cheaper than those nearer Waikiki centre.

7. The location was great at night as, being part of the Beach Walk complex, the suites had everything you need 'on the doorstep' such as a good choice of restaurants, shops and bars (we like the Yard House with its huge variety of ales and other beverages!).
