While the bathrooms are small in comparison to most other Ritz properties (the hotel was one of the first built in the current incarnation of the chain)--no separate
shower
except in suites--they are still quite pleasant, and the amenities are first-rate.

However, in a R-C bathroom, I expect something better than a tub-
shower
enclosure.

The 'classic' spa

The room itself was nice, if a little dated, and the bathroom was rather small with the annoying door that swings practically into the toilet on its way to block entry to the
shower
/tub.

Bath rooms are small with
shower
tub combos - newer upscale hotels are generally offering a seperate
shower
, which I really prefer.

The bathroom is small--this was one of the very first Ritz Carltons built, so it doesn't have a separate
shower
as the newer ones do--but it's still wonderful, all in marble, with a great raised sink.
