1. If you are looking for a quiet place to sleep and plan to take your lunch and dinner meals outside the hotel, and have your own car, the price is right and the location good for nearby freeways.

2. It's midtown location is very convenient for central Phoenix but not a place for evening entertainment.

3. That said, the location is good (just off Central, connected to an office building), the service is friendly and competant, they have the standard breakfast offerings (important to me), the room was large and clean, and the free wi-fi worked.

If you need to be in Central Phoenix, the location is excellent - and it served our purposes quite well: instead of renting a car at the airport, we took a cab to the hotel ($25), and picked up our car the next morning at the Hertz right around the corner from the hotel, and saved all those airport fees (which, in Phoenix are HUGE) .
