1. Just for the fun of it one morning i walked to the nearby Washington Marriott to try their indoor pool (access was arranged for Renaissance guests).

6. Only downsides are rooms are pretty small, if well-designed, and there is no pool.

7. The hotel doesn`t have a pool which is usually a must for DC summers, but in the other seasons you should be fine.

9. Also nice to have access to nearby Marriott`s pool etc although we didn`t utilize those facilities.

10. The Marriott fitness room and pool were primitive and tiny in comparison to the Renaissance, and after looking around a couple of minutes I retreated back to the Renaissance.
