3. As a tourist who had never been to DC before I asked the front desk as I checked in which was the best way to go to see the sights and they gave me a free map and pointed me in the right direction (very helpful advice), not too far to walk to the Whitehouse and not too far to walk to the bus stop at DuPont Circle which took me most places, the very reasonably priced taxis took me elsewhere.

4. You can't complain about the location, we were about a 10 minute walk to the Foggy Bottom Metro and everything was within walking distance of the hotel.

5. This is a great location because it's a nice walk everywhere and a short cab ($10 or so) to every great neighborhood I needed to visit.

10. When we asked for directions, they were happy to take the time to tell us how to get to our desired destination, and they also told us the best way to get there (taxi, metro, walk, etc).
