5. As I got to my room, which was located on the Franklin Street side (I read was a no no), however, I loved the view of the city (especially at night), and since it was very warm, we had the air conditioner on, and it seemed to drown out the traffic noise.

6. Just returned from staying 6 nights - very impressed- room was great, loved the photos hanging throughout the hotel; bathroom impressive and with a view to Hollywood sign- front desk staff always friendly and helpful- computer in hotel lobby to check e-mails - free- location was brilliant - we walked down to Hollywood Boulevard every day - safe neighbourhood- Metro buses and trains 5 minute walk (much cheaper than taxis $5 all day pass) just need lots of time when using public transport- diner on site - open till 3am- Joe's mart just next door for bottles of water - cheap.
