1. And as my room was on the 15th floor and at the front of the hotel, I had a wonderful view of the city from my window.

On entering our room which was 1516 on 15th floor, found this to be very good, not much of a view but then we were very rarely in the room as there is just too much to see and do, this hotel is based right in the heart of times square, next door a Dean and Delucas coffee shop so tasty treats to be had when returning for a rest before the night time activity.

We arrived at the hotel and got checked in quite swiftly, we got offered an upgrade to a slightly bigger room and we took it after asking what floor we would be on and where in the hotel it would be, (a previous review stated ninth floor and at the back with less noise- this is exactly where we were put, no views but lots of peace and quiet) - think about it - you are a 2 minute walk from Times Square a very busy all night location - bit like being in London.

10. As we had been on a ship for 2 weeks we really couldnt face having any more movement whilst sleeping, so we phoned down to reception and asked for another room, we were told the new room was still a superior queen, but without a view.
