1. Also, all doors in the room except for the door to the shower/toilet space do not lock, or even have a place to try to lock.

Upscale mall in the hotel's back yard, stayed for ten days and never heard other guests, the bowed out shower curtain rod was a nice touch in the bathroom, microwave/wet bar area was nice to keep left overs from all the great resturants nearby (check out Copland's pecan crusted cheesecake!and Folks for a true southern food experience.

3. You can also hear the guests above you if they are running around and stomping on the floor instead of walking normally, and you can hear your neighbors when they are using the shower.
