1. If you want to have a different place to stay that offers well appointed rooms at a reasonable price, you won't go far wrong with the Crystal Pier.

We were in room 11, and although we loved the room, it had two downsides with not being very far west:a) late at night we would occasionally hear loud/drunk people walking along the boardwalk; Being further west would have alleviated this problem by not only being further from the boardwalk, but also the wave crashes would have been louder further west, thus muffling boardwalk noise even more.

8. The bedroom and living room had total ocean views that were amazing, we loved hearing the surf, being aware of the tide changes, etc. Best of all for us was the 'deck' - there is a table and 4 chairs, two loungers and a side table on each deck area.
