1. I didn't upgrade to the more expensive room that directly faced the ocean but my room still had a bit of an ocean view and was more than adequate.

3. Points for improvement: Breakfast is fair but the room were it is served is too small and usually you can`t find a place to sit and calmly enjoy the fresh waffles they serve there.

6. Breakfast was light, poorly refilled, and such a chaotic mess (only 6 tables and almost no room to walk through the breakfast room) that we gave up on it the second morning.

7. I was very annoyed that he had not warned us before we got to the room that we`d been switched to something else, particularly after that lengthy delay finding our reservation.

9. I was also annoyed that he did not offer us any sort of discount for either the inconvenience of a 45 minute check in or the inconvenience of switching us to a room type we did not reserve (particularly as we paid extra for a room not received).
