1. The location in Kihei is ideal and with the exception of hearing the guest above me trample across his/her room, the room was otherwise quiet.

I have stayed here for 15 years (half the property used to be the Wailana Inn), and it is perfect for my needs: gay friendly staff #1, comfortable rooms (I always stay in one with access to the garden lanai), hot tub on the roof, wi fi, access to a masseur in their massage room, across from a sweeping crescent beach, easy access to Little Beach.

9. Although we ate out a few times, we enjoyed making ourselves at home in the room and making use of the bbq grills and eating under the gazebo in the lush and well manicured gardens.
