1. To stay in Kihei proved strategic as it was close to the highways that we often travelled to most of the areas we wanted to see.

2. However, if this review doesn't give you peace-of-mind, then may I suggest you drive a few miles farther down the Pilani Highway and stay at one of the massive resorts at Wialea where you'll probably pay a minimum of $450/night.

3. It was perfectly located to suit all of the things we wanted to do - the Hana highway, the beaches in Makena, Haleakala.
