1. The hotel even has some very good recommendations and discounts with local vendors for adventure tours, snorkeling, whale watching, etc. That saves some money on the things you came to Maui to see.

3. We paid a lot more money for our room than the rates available on TripAdvisor since we thought we were getting a 'returning guest' discount, which still added up to more than the rates you can get for other places.
