4. Hand prints all over the mirrors and windows, mildew and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, dingy bedding, stains on the chair that we guessed to be semen, visibly dirty carpeting, etc. The room was nothing less than depressing.

5. The bathroom was linked to the neighboring room and through the overhead lightbox, which was open and uninsulated, you could see the light from the other side, and you could hear EVERYTHING (including their alarm clock and unmentionable bathroom noises).
