8. The bed was HARD and the hotel isn't in the safest neighborhood, but is only a $5 cab ride from Broadway bars and restaurants--can't beat the price for the location.

9. The walk over the pedestrian bridge was not terribly long, and at night, coming from the bars on Broadway, it was actually quite, erm, refreshing.
