1. And our charming 'deluxe' room (actually their standard one) was beautifully appointed with reproduction antique furniture, a fully functional bathroom with period fixtures and lightning-fast internet connection.

5. We had a room that was 'internal' so we had one very small window in the bedroom that looked out onto an internal shaft (I think it was room 103?) and the window in the bathroom (which was huge and lovely by the way!) looked directly into the room next door and we could hear everything they were saying.

7. If you keep the bathroom door closed, this wouldn't bother you but we have reached an age where we keep the door open so that we can find our way to it in the night.

8. Absolutely my only complaint about our room is that there was a bright light outside our bathroom window that went on and off irregularly during the night - perhaps a motion activated spotlight.

10. The best part was the guy who came into the lobby while we were there, asked for a bathroom key and proceeded to go vomit loudly enough for the entire hotel to hear.
