Both rooms were quite nice and met our needs, although in the bungalow it was necessary to go through the middle bedroom to get to the living/
kitchen
of the unit.

Food in the casual restaurant was decent with a good Children's menu but room service breakfast was spotty with the
kitchen
staff not being able to get the order accurate and having to return several times to correct forgotten items.

The second room we received was a suite and the room appeared to be upgraded, modern tile floors, marble in the bathroom, nice bedding, but the
kitchen
had very old cabinets and the smell just unbearable.

kitchen
area with refrigerator and microwave to keep leftovers cold and reheat them in the morning for a nice snack.

We had a
kitchen
area which we didn't use as we drove to Pacific Beach for breakfast every day, and dined in the Barefoot Bar and Grill which was about average for price, and very relaxed.
"A beautiful, all-bungalow resort. An affordable, relaxed, tropical paradise, only minutes from downtown and the ocean. "
