2. All was excellent for our first stay at the SD Omni - room, service, views, location in gas lamp district, style, parking garage across street, pool deck casualness, and fast wifi.

3. wiFi is only free if you sign up for their online service ( which is free ) but I think adding that extra hassle is unnecessary.

5. The things I liked, that other hotels in this class don't always offer include: umbrellas you can borrow on rainy days, and free internet wifi in your room (just sign up for their loyalty program).

7. The room was lovely with high quality linens, toiletries, nice lighting, spacious, etc. As an Omni Select guest (I don't even know how I got that status), I had free wifi and fresh coffee and a newspaper delivered to my door for free each morning.

8. Also, you will get free wifi only if you are a loyalty member (and it is free to sign up) they also gave us a late check out which we appreciated, in January we had the outdoor hot tub to ourselves several nights in a row so that was really nice and relaxing.

9. I've been a Select Guest (the Omni's loyalty program) for many years and it is a wonderful program--free WIFI, complimentary morning beverage service delivered to your room at the time you request, room upgrades, complimentary clothes pressing and shoe shines, too.
