1. We were on the top floor facing east so street noise was not much of a problem for us but I would guess any closer to the street and even with closed windows it would be a problem.

10. Some folks will find the neighborhood a bit dicey, and if you are sensitive to noise, get a room away from the street (or if you like to watch cars drive by, get a room up front with a patio overlooking Hollywood Blvd.
