1. When I asked about it, they said they only have it during peak season, yet they do not list dates or 'peak season only' anywhere in the guest book in the rooms or on the check in sheet when they list the free continental breakfast.

8. If you're an experienced skier you'll get bored with Buttermilk quite quickly, and the distance to the bigger areas, particularly Snowmass, is a bit frustrating - although there are regular ski shuttles, and the hotel itself also offers a free shuttle service.

9. Greatness of this place is ski-in, ski-out at Buttermilk, free shuttle anywhere in Apsen/Airport, free breakfast, hot tub, and decent bar/food.

10. Many guests were surprised and disappointed, but the free shuttle took us two minutes away to a mini-mall for a cheap and easy breakfast, and during the ski season at least, lunch can be had at the ski facility appx half a block away.
