4. Let's clear up a few things about most every hotel in Manhattan: yes, the rooms are small; yes, there is road noise almost 24/7; yes, the parking and amenities can be expensive.

5. I had a hard time going to sleep--our room was right on Lexington and even though we didn't get back to the hotel until after 1am on both nights, it was still difficult for me to fall asleep with all the traffic noise.

6. My only real complaint about this hotel has to do with how bothersome the street noise was at night.

7. Let's talk about the bathroom and its faucet handle that refused to stay 'on' or the door that would not close helping the lovely toilet noises escape in stereo.

8. Once closed the street noise from the traffic and construction across the street that started promptly at 7 AM eliminating any option of sleep decreased from horrific to irritating.

9. I had asked for a room on the highest floor possible and they gave us a room on the 16th floor which had a great view and less street noise.

10. Other reviews mentioned traffic noise from 57th Avenue but we didn't find that as offensive as the HVAC system.
