2. Being on Capitol Hill means I can walk to my meetings as well as the shopping at Union Station -- added bonus, the diner at the next table may be someone you just saw on the evening news.

3. The interior of both the room and also the public spaces have been relatively recently redone, and the hotel has a 'new' feel about it even though the building itself is several decades old.

7. The Starbucks was very crowded, so we took a left up new Jersey Avenue and found the West Wing Cafe which had a deli, coffee, a refrigerated section with yogurt, drinks, fruit with less waiting and a better value.
