5. I don't have anything to compare this hotel to in DC, but I think it would be difficult to find a more accommodating staff, cleaner and comfortable hotel and a better breakfast that the Hampton Inn at 901 6th St NW offers.

7. After a long, long flight, the friendly crew at reception got me all sorted and into my very comfortable room in no time flat - which shouldn't necessarily be a laudable thing, but so many hotels still do struggle to make check-in (and check-out) a smooth process.
