While generally the desk staff has been as helpful as ever, evening experiences with extremely RUDE staff in the lobby (who were very harsh to our guests who just wanted to get a drink with us in the bar but were accosted by said staff for a cover (we weren't in or going into the club) sat badly.

2. All in all, the Hotel Congress was a welcome break from the generic motels we had been staying in.

3. This is also a great spot for observing the locals (who are big fans of the Cup Cafe breakfast menu also) and getting a feel for the general vibe of Tucson.
