2. I was told it had been even colder before I arrived, so the room should have been prepared for to the cold weather and been warm and welcoming, not left with the same summer set-up for the guest to cope with.

8. When we arrived in our room the ice bucket was filled with ice and bottled water and there was box of chocolates and a welcome note from the hotel's manager welcoming us.
